Once Upon a Corrie

Feeling lonely, Corrie made a wish for some friends to come play with her. Moments later, Corrie heard a noise in the other room and scurried to find out what it was.
Corrie entered the room and found a wild woman crouched on her bed, wearing only one glove. She was intense and ready for some serious play time.
She said, "Hope you don't mind, I brought some friends."

"Let's start with your lower body. Feet are fun and then we will work up to the deconstruction of social constructs," said the wild woman.

Corrie listened in complete ecstasy to The Androgynous One recite poetry with subliminal messages.

A loud gong noise shook the room. Their play session was coming to an end.
It was at that point where everyone needed to wind down. They said their goodbyes and made a date for the play session to pick back up in dreamland. Sleep was the next adventure.
The cosmic pimp came and took everyone away. Just like that, they were gone.
After everyone left, Corrie wondered, "What's Kate Bush doing right now?"

Ambrosia and Autism

My plans for the Victorian District excursion were postponed due to rain, along with the puppet show. There is always next week. It all worked out for the best. I was itching for some good vegetarian food and found this little place on the 6 th St called Amrosia Living Foods Cafe . It has wifi and I was in the mood to write and eat. Only one of those happened. The place was small and friendly. I asked to sit by an outlet and server told me a last minute presentation was about to happen and the outlet would be in use. I walked to the back of the restaurant and there I was talked into the getting the raw special: beet ravioli. Which was amazingly delicious and filling. Followed by raw baklava for desert. All the food served is gluten free. After finishing my meal I wasn't ready to leave so I asked what the presentation was about. Peacin' Out

Last night I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Andies on Montrose and Greenview. I sat outside amongst the couples and friends chatting away the time until the food arrived. A glass of Syrah and some pita bread kept me company. To the right of me an elderly man sat alone, we acknowledged each other's presence and the breeze the evening had to offer. The old man and young woman sat separately alone, with an air of confidence and satisfaction of not having to explain ourselves to anyone. The old man just wanted his meal, while the young woman fantasized about much more.I found my cat spot for the evening. Today I'm just about ready to take off. I have the option of going to see Brazilian Girls tonight at Soldier Field. After briefly thinking about it my mind was already set. Leave Chicago tonight! Not sure where I'm going but I'll take whatever comes my way, and have a good time.

Woke up with a taste of nostalgia. I haven't missed my mom in more than a while. It felt good to remember her. As I placed my amethyst earrings in their holes, I sighed a loud, "God I miss you Terri." To work at the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art is to be in a constant state of nostalgia. Not only from the stone sculptures of Chinese Dynasties, but also my grandfathers essence that haunts the place with his original office and library still intact. When I sit up front greeting guests and doing research, I yearn to hear grandpa Joe's voice call me into his office and give me something to do. Never met the man. Only see him every week in a stone portrait custom made in Florence, Italy as a tribute to his passing. The afternoon lingered. A woman came in.
